Karygiannis, Jim "-Ensuring that Scarborough Grace Hospital will remain open and function as a full-service, community hospital;

- Continuing to work with residents, to make sure the re-development of the Bridlewood Mall enhances the quality of life in the area;

- Securing increased Settlement Services for New Immigrants to look after the needs of newcomers;

- Making sure that our neighborhoods are a safe place in which to live and raise our children; and,

- Upgrading our public transit and bringing the subway to Scarborough along Sheppard Avenue."1

"Mr. Karygiannis is the former Member of Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt.  He has been was an effective voice for the people of Scarborough-Agincourt and has vast political experience and a proven record of public service.

Mr. Karygiannis was the Liberal Party Critic for Veterans Affairs and the Liberal Party Critic for Multiculturalism, with responsibility for stakeholder and community outreach.  He served a Parliamentary Secretary of Human Resources and Skills Development.  Prior to this appointment, he served as the Parliamentary Secretary of Transport, with special emphasis on Transport and the Environment."1

Ng, Franco  "

- Clean up illegal rooming houses

- Protect your hard-earn tax dollars

- Continue to ensure that Ward 39 receives excellent customer service and get back to you within 24 hours

- Tackle traffic congestion problems

- Work with City Council and other levels of government to plan for regional growth and to modernize our transit system"

Franco Ng has served the residents in Ward 39 directly together with Councillor Mike Del Grande and his team for a long time already. He is also the only candidate in Ward 39 with political experience at Toronto City Council, with a proven track record to listen and respond to the residents' concerns; he is recognized for dedication serving the community.


Ng graduated from Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute and University of Toronto. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and French

Active in her community, Patricia is known for her involvement in seniors’ services, healthcare, planning and development, condominium governance and transit. 
Patricia is a founding member of the Sheppard Subway Action Coalition, Coalition Against McNicoll Bus Garage, Real Torontonians Dig Subways, StandUp Bridletowne and Save Our Sheppard. 
She has served on the Scarborough Hospital’s Community Advisory Council, Don Mills Foundation for Seniors, her condominium board, the Yonge-Bloor- Bay Business Association’s Special Events Committee and volunteered with the Canadian Opera Company and Toronto Summer Music."[2]
