"I was born and raised in Toronto, and love my city as I love Canada.  My business is in industrial property management, and have over twenty five years of entrepreneurial experience in the Etobicoke and surrounding areas. My place is on Sherway Gardens Road...I also operate an organic farm in Caledon.
In my spare time I volunteer, read, cook, workout, and hike with my dogs. I am a supporter of the arts, world cultures, and enjoy visiting the AGO, ROM, COC, Woodbine races, various restaurants, concerts and sporting events in the city.
I have the opportunity, and the vision to dedicate myself to the City of Toronto and the people of Ward 2 Etobicoke as Councillor."

"Andray is a writer, financial planner, and a manager for one of Canada's largest group insurance companies. Since his early years in university, Andray has had a passion for engaging underrepresented communities, as well as volunteering for political campaigns to encourage voter turnout.

Andray was born in Toronto to an immigrant Jamaican family, and grew up in and around the Rexdale area. As a University of Windsor student, he wrote political opinion columns for their student paper The Lance. He was also involved in local politics, volunteering for provincial and federal election campaigns in the Windsor West riding. Andray would go on to enter the financial industry while earning his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

As a financial planner, Andray taught financial literacy classes for the Toronto District School Board, specializing in investments and retirement planning. He remained active with local politics at the time, volunteering for various municipal, provincial, and federal election campaigns.

Today, Andray lives in Etobicoke, and works in the downtown core as a Best Practices manager. His role in training sales staff, supervising the sales practices of team members, and building relationships with corporate business partners, has prepared him for the task of being a voice for Rexdale residents. LaRocque, Luke "When it comes to specific needs for Ward 2, I think we need to work for:
  • strong city services and fair taxes.
  • major investments in road repairs.
  • more frequent off-peak and late-night buses.
  • safer, cleaner parks.
  • more job opportunities with local businesses.
  • a community connection program for newcomers.
  • a constituency office in the ward, bringing City Hall to you."
"Luke is a father, husband, and community developer. He grew up and has spent most of his life in north Etobicoke, and knows that it's one of the best places to live in Toronto. Like any good community, its diversity, community institutions, and mix of residential and business areas form its foundation and make it unique. Luke is passionate about supporting the community and will work hard to make sure that you’ll see a positive difference in the neighbourhood.

Covering a broad range of experiences, Luke has worked with marginalized youth and refugees, managed independent arts organizations, and started his own business. He studied at the University of Toronto and has a Master’s degree with a focus on urban and international development. He has worked and volunteered with communities both here in Rexdale with a local road hockey league and abroad, with a relief organization in Malawi, Africa. Having actively volunteered throughout his life, today he supports the work of Sanctuary Toronto and Matthew House. He is an advocate for the cultural sector, having worked as a producer and actor before moving into community development. He is also on the Board of Directors for Glasswater Theatre, which he co-founded in 2011.

As a member of many communities, Luke knows how important it is to have a city government that truly represents its people—one that actively engages with all residents of the city, seeks their input, and listens to their concerns and ideas. The important decisions made at City Hall should reflect the needs and diversity of our great city, and north Etobicoke in particular. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be sharing some of his ideas for the ward and we hope that you’ll share yours as well. Together, we can make a better Toronto."
