Bravo, Alejandra  "As a parent, a volunteer, and a community leader, Alejandra Bravo knows how hard people in our community are struggling: to raise their families; for good jobs that give them a future; even to get to work or to school in the morning.

Time and again Alejandra has heard from people in our neighborhoods who feel we aren’t getting our fair share from City Hall. We deserve a community with good jobs and services that will help our neighbourhoods grow and thrive, and we need a City Councillor who will fight to make it happen. Alejandra Bravo has a vision for our community and the guts to stand up to those who say we can’t do better."[1]

"Alejandra Bravo has worked hard to build a home and raise a family here in Ward 17. She knows first-hand what it’s like for so many people in our neighborhoods; struggling, to make ends meet, for good jobs, and to do the best they can for their families.

When she fled the dictatorship in Chile as a child with her family they came to Canada with the hope of a building a new life. But like so many new Canadians they struggled; with work; with the language; with just trying to find a community they felt a part of."[1]

"As the Manager of Leadership & Learning with Maytree, as a parent volunteer at Rawlinson School and the founder of St. Clair Kick-It!, Alejandra has worked with many of us, parents, grandparents, teachers, seniors and young people, to improve our libraries and schools, and to bring sports and arts programs to our neighborhoods."[1]
