Yes, early liquor serving is a good idea

No, early liquor serving is a bad idea

Economics

There has been a heavy demand for early liquor during the Stampede.  It is a good econoic decision and gives individuals greater freedom to choose how they would like to enjoy their stampede breakfasts.

Economics

Just because businesses can sell more alcohol doesn't mean they should.  The rules shouldn't be changed just because it is Stampede.

Drunkenness

People who were going to get drunk during the stampede would be doing so anyways.  The number of people who are getting drunk only because of the extended hours from 8am to 10am are negligable.

Establishments that are allowed to serve alcohol are still and always required to serve responsibly and deny service to anyone who has had too much.

Drunkenness

Public drunkenness has always been a problem during the Stampede.  Some individuals are bound to take advantage of the extended hours and become problematic.
