Code of Conduct

Ethics and Duty of care

Always add content honestly and honourably, with the intent of better informing site users.

Always conform to relevant law, and avoid causing any adverse effect on the human rights of people in the organizations, the local and wider environments, and the well-being of society at large.

Conflict of interest

If you strongly agree with one answer to a question, please spend most of your time editing that side of the question.  Convince others by improving the evidence on the side you agree with.  For example, if you think there is incorrect information on the other side of debate, add a counterpoint instead of removing it.

Political candiates are encouraged to participate using the comment system, rather than editing content.  Political candidates and candidate supporters are not permitted to directly edit candidate review pages.

Intellectual property and moral rights

We retain the moral rights in, and ownership of, all intellectual property that we create as a community.

All content created is to referenced as required.

Quality assurance

We maintain the quality of what we do through constant ongoing review.  Some pages will become out of date.

Professional conduct

Conduct all activities professionally and with integrity. Take great care to be completely objective in your judgement.

Equality and discrimination

Please always be courteous on ChoiceStorm.  People are entitled to their own opinions.

Users are not to use inappropriate language or link to inappropriate material.

 

ChoiceStorm reserves the right to ban users who fail to follow the code of conduct.
